Wii making loud noise and freezing? I have had a black wii for a couple years now, and I don't play it very often. I started watching netflix on it, and it has 2 or 3 times now frozen and emitted a constant loud noise. The buttons on the front won't work so I have to unplug it. Once I plug it back in it is fine. I assumed it was an overheating problem at first even though the wii didn't feel very warm, but now I have it up on blocks for better ventilation and my room is quite cool, so is the wii, and it just happened again so I don't think it's overheating.
